Kid Quantum

Kid Quantum is James Cullen, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th Century. He has the ability to create stasis fields. The original James Cullen appeared during Five Years Later continuity, which was later erased by Zero Hour. He was said to have been the first Legionnaire to die in combat. Instead, it was revealed that he was a group of shape-shifting Proteans who had gone into hiding.
In Reboot Legion continuityJames Cullen was born on Xanthu. They made him one of the first Legionnaires, but he was killed by Tangleweb. His sister Jazmin Cullen had a much longer Legion tenure. Kid Quantum was created by Tom BierbaumMary Bierbaum, and David A. Williams, first appearing in Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 4) #33. (1992)

Anti-Lad

Anti-Lad comes from the very distant future and travels back in time to visit the Legion of Super-Heroes and ensure that Superman became a member.
In the far, far future of the 75th Century, a young boy began a school report on the history of Superboy. Using a time scanner, he planned to peer into the past for information on Superboy's induction into the Legion of Super-Heroes. However, the device was defective, and as it peered into the past its scanning waves had somehow warped the past and altered it, so now Superboy had failed his initiation. The boy brought this to his father's attention, who explained that if something wasn't done soon their present would unravel. While his father planned to bring this to the Science Council in order to do something, the boy felt it was his responsibility to make it right. Using a few gadgets which, by his time's standards were nothing but toys but by the standards of the 30th Century they were amazing weapons, the boy traveled back in time to the 30th Century to make sure Superboy indeed joined.

The boy appeared in the Legion's HQ, calling himself Anti-Lad and asking to be judged for membership in the Legion. Anti-Lad claimed that he had the ability to reverse a person's superability on themselves, and managed to successfully defeat Colossal Boy, Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy, all the while acting very cocky and sure of himself. Brainiac 5 had been curious about why Anti-Lad never took off his visor, and he told him it was because his world was a thousand times brighter than Earth's, and without his visor he couldn't see.

Brainiac 5 and Cosmic Boy began discussing their mysterious new applicant and soon exposed his facade when they turned on the lights in his room and he could see fine. They learned that all his abilities were in his visor. Upon further investigation of the earth soil and kryptonite residue on his uniform from the 20th Century, Anti-Lad claimed he went back in time and sabotaged Superboy's initiation. Anti-Lad took that opportunity to depart the Legion back to his time, using his visor to erase the Legionnaires' memories of his time there, but with the post-hypnotic suggestion that they should give Superboy another chance. The timeline had been corrected and Superboy did indeed become a member.

No one remembered Anti-Lad's time in the Legion, but the only thing left behind was a picture of Anti-Lad with Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy. This led the other Legionnaires to wonder, "Who was Anti-Lad?"

Entropy Kid

Entropy Kid is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes
Entropy Kid can accelerate or reverse the current state of decay of any matter. For example, he can bring a young branch to fruit instantly or take it back to seed.
In the 31st Century as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Entropy Kid possesses a Legion Flight Ring. The ring gives its wearer the ability to fly, the speed and range of which is determined by the wearer's willpower. It also acts as a long-range communicator (enabling constant vocal contact with other Legionnaires, even across vast distances of space), a signal device, and a navigational compass, all powered by a micro-computer built inside the ring.

Cherry Bomb

Note: As I mentioned before, I've changed the settings on the comments due to an unusual amount of spam. If you would like to leave a comment, please follow this page first, only then you can post whatever you want. Only followers can post comments from now on. Thanks!

A rejected applicant on Legion Tryouts Day with an explosive personality, Cherry Bomb joined with several other rejects to try and covertly replace those who did join the Legion of Superheroes of Earth-247 after an "accident." Their failure ended with the group being branded as villains instead.
I did this one while listening to The Runaways tune, Cherry Bomb.

Radius Lad

Radius Lad is mute, but he is also a living antenna that can tap into a signal anywhere in the galaxy. He projects these signals as his voice, which he can weaponize depending on the signal. He also is an armored roly-poly that is nearly indestructible when rolled up.
In the 31st Century as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Radius Lad possesses a Legion Flight Ring.

If you made it this far, congratulations you can actually read. Nowadays most people are too busy or can't even bother to read anything.
I recently changed the settings, so only people who follow this Blog can comment on the posts.
Yes, that means you gotta follow and then you can comment whatever you like.
I kept getting a lot of spam.
Thanks for following, and a special thanks to the loyal Legion of Super-Heroes fans.
Have a good weekend!

Membrain

Membrain was a member of the neophyte Legion of Super-Heroes in the 75th Century while they fought to prevent unknown enemies (who turned out to be Durlans) from destroying a star and disrupting the peace of the United Planets. He survived the event.
For such an obscure character, I have to admit it was a lot of fun drawing this one.

Heroes of Lallor

The original Heroes of Lallor are five super-powered youths born roughly during the same time period on Lallor, a planet run by a dictatorship. Their superpowers result from their parents' exposure to atomic radiation. Though raised by the government, they are eventually banished for opposing the dictatorship. First appearing in Adventure Comics #324, these heroes have "stronger" powers than the members of the Legion of Super-Heroes. They are tricked into fighting the Legion by a relative of the Jungle King, who had fallen in battle to the Legion previously. During the battle, Duplicate Boy and Shrinking Violet fall in love; their relationship survives this battle. The dictatorship is overthrown and the heroes choose to remain on Lallor.
In Adventure Comics #339, one of the members, Beast Boy, who had been shunned by Lallorian society, flees to a jungle planet, Vorn. There he leads the animals on the planet in a revolt against humans. He dies saving a little girl from an attack by one of the animals. He is buried on Shanghalla, the memorial planet.
The Heroes of Lallor help the Legion out several times against the Fatal Five and Darkseid.
Duplicate Boy and Shrinking Violet break up after Imskian rebels kidnap her and replace her in the Legion with a Durlan named Yera. Violet confronts Duplicate Boy for uncovering the imposter via x-ray and failing to rescue her.
The Heroes of Lallor make a single appearance in post-Zero Hour Legion continuity. In Legionnaires #49 (June 1997), Beast Boy, Gas Girl, and Splitter appear in a single panel, being told they cannot help the Legion as they are needed on Lallor. Evolvo had previously been established as a member of the Workforce
I have previously drawn Life Lass on June 30, 2015, and Duplicate Boy on March 13, 2018.

Evolvo Lad

Sev Tcheru is the leader of the Heroes of Lallor, using his powers in the defense of his planet. As a member of the Heroes of Lallor, he was one of the five born and was raised alongside the other heroes by the government, only to be banished for disobeying the dictatorship of the planet. Evolvo Lad's superpower is to assume the form of an evolved, or devolved, version of himself. When he is evolved, his brain becomes larger and he becomes much smarter. When devolved, he has been shown to be stronger, even assuming an ape form.
Sometime later Evolvo Lad and his teammates are tricked into battling the Legion of Super heroes by a relative of the Jungle King. However teammate Duplicate boy and Legionnaire Shrinking Violet fell in love despite their teams conflict. The two teams eventually part peacefully remaining as allies.
Evolvo Lad along with the rest of his team then assist the Legion as well as the entire universe in battling Darkseid as well as his Daxamite army, in their attempt to conquer the universe. Following Darksied's defeat, he and along with the rest of the Heroes of Lallor help in the rebuilding and recovering of people.
Evolvo Lad has the curious and unique ability to switch between two other forms- a Cro-Magnon-like super-strong form, and a giant-brained "evolved" smart form. This allowed him to be both a Team Smart Guy and a Team Powerhouse, and offers a unique set-up- two sets of powers in an Array (sort of like Ultra-Boy), giving him quite a few options.

Beast Boy

One of five children of the planet Lallor who were exposed to powerful radiation at a young age and were gifted with superpowers, Ilshu Nor was born with the power to turn into various animals. He and the five other children grew into teens and decided to use their powers to fight injustice as the Heroes of Lallor.

He is able to transform into any animal or beast and duplicate their special abilities. He is not related to Beast Boy, the Teen Titans member.

Gas Girl

Gas Girl was created by Edmond Hamilton & John Forte. His first appearance was in Adventure Comics # 324- The Legion of Super Outlaws, Sept. 1964.
The bizarre origin of Tal Nahii who was born with the mutant power to turn into any form of gas at room temperature, thanks to her parents being irradiated during an atomic accident earlier in their life. The young girl exhibited the ability to transform into any gaseous element at room temperature. Taking great joy at her unique disposition she is known as a bit of a show-off and enjoys shocking people with her sudden transformations. A native of the planet Lallor, she found others born with abilities like herself also due to an atomic accident on Lallor.
Tal is very bright and impetuous by nature and is often the first to get into trouble. She has a fierce loyalty to the group whom she grew up with as a child and would later join them as the official protectors of Lallor, boasting that she does not need the mighty Legion of Super-Heroes help in defense.
You guessed it right, the Heroes of Lallor are next.

The Wanderers

The Wanderers are a group of superheroes appearing in comics published by DC Comics. They first appeared as allies of the Legion of Super-Heroes in Adventure Comics  #375 written by Jim Shooter, illustrated by Win Mortimer with a cover by Neal Adams. DC published a thirteen-issue series featuring the team in the late 1980's.
Here's my group shot version, I chose the cloned version. Hope you like it.
Long Live the Legion!

Dartalon

Dartalon is a member of the Wanderers whose body produces sharp quills which he uses as projectile weapons.
Dartalg was a member of the Wanderers and an expert marksman who carried a blowgun that fired specialized gimmick darts.
After he died and was resurrected through cloning, he was renamed Dartalon and his appearance was changed. Dartalon's body gained the ability to grow sharp quills which he could use as projectile weapons. His body could regenerate the quills quickly after they were used.
Dartalon is a fierce fighter and often uses the quills on the backs of his hands as claws. He also carries a quiver filled with quills he has already removed and treated with poisons, explosives, sedatives, etc.
Since their resurrection, Dartalon has formed a close friendship with his fellow Wanderer Elvar.
In the New52, the character Quiller was based in the Dartalon version of the character. He served as the base for the character Quill in the Supergirl live action series.
BG by Aleksei Bachinskii
And this was the last Wanderer I got to do for now.
Group shot coming soon.

Re-Animage

Re-Animage cannot die. He also has a healing touch, which can even bring the dead back to life if they've died very recently.

Originally known as Immorto, who was a member of the Wanderers with the ability to return to life whenever he was killed.

When he was eventually vaporized, Immorto appeared to finally be truly dead. But then Clonus resurrected Immorto and he was reborn as Re-Animage.

Re-Animage can recover from any wound and does not age. He can also temporarily share his reanimating energy with others through touch. This allows him to revive recently dead bodies.

Re-Animage is the leader of the Wanderers.

As I mentioned before on my other Wanderers designs, I chose the cloned versions since I thought they were more interesting design-wise.

One more to go...

Aviax

Aviax is a member of the Wanderers with the ability to transform his body into any creature of flight that his imagination can conceive.
Orintho was a member of the Wanderers with the ability to change his shape into any type of bird he had encountered.
After his death and resurrection through cloning, Orintho was renamed Aviax and his abilities were augmented so that he could become any creature of flight that he could imagine, including birds, dragons and bats.
Aviax's skeleton is extremely porous and fragile, like most birds.
Aviax is a skilled pilot and navigator and flies the Wanderers' spaceship for the team.
At some point in his career Ornitho became friends with Beast Boy of the Heroes of Lallor. They formed a bond over their similar powers and teamed up for occasional adventures.
I also did my best to keep it faithful to the cloned version, for some reason I thought it was more interesting. Two more Wanderers to go...

Elvar

Elvar is an expert swordsman and a member of the Wanderers.
Elvo was a member of the Wanderers who was a master swordsman with an energy-charged blade.
When Elvo died and was resurrected as a clone he took on the new name Elvar and his body was transformed into a smaller, elfinlike body with enhanced speed and agility. He also gained the ability to energize his power sword to enable it to cut through almost anything. In addition, Elvar can use his willpower to project beams of energy from his sword.
After their resurrections, Elvar and Dartalon have become close friends and enjoyed many adventures together.
I chose the cloned version of the Wanderers to draw, I thought the original designs were a little too simple. I find the cloned version designs to be more interesting, yes even with that 80's look. Speaking of which, I had to keep Elvar's 80's hair due LOL.
I did my best to make it look cool.

Psyche

Psyche is the "Mistress of Emotions" and can manipulate and control the emotions of others. A member of the Wanderers, a super-hero team from the 30th century.
I chose the cloned version to do first, I thought they were a little more interesting than the original design-wise.

After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Wanderers went on a mission to investigate enigmatic and deadly beings that were posing a threat to the civilized galaxy. It proved to be the original Wanderers’ final mission, as their starship was overwhelmed and the entire team was murdered by the mysterious enemy. A Controller named Clonus located the ship drifting through space and brought most of the Wanderers back to life via cloning. Since Clonus had inadvertently created the creatures that had murdered the Wanderers, he now felt responsible for their deaths, so he took the opportunity to enhance their powers during the cloning process in hopes that the new team could defeat the creatures that had destroyed them earlier.

The cloned version of Psyche had platinum hair instead of blonde.
